Our Parish

Mungret Crecora Raheen Parish emerges from the Barony of Pubblebrien and consists of a harmonious blend of urban Raheen with rural Crecora. It stretches from the banks of the Shannon, near Mungret to beyond the southern edge of the new N20 roadway and reaches out into the Golden Vale in the direction of Adare, Cork and Kerry. An approved concentration of industrial and commercial enterprises results in a constant turnover of people – new faces adding to the swell of about 10,000 existing parishioners

Parish Mission Statement

We see the Parish of Mungret Raheen Crecora as an inclusive Christian Community where all are equal, respecting differences. Here all are invited to grow in a spirit of love, hope, service and spiritual renewal. We will strive to work collaboratively, cultivating an inclusive and caring atmosphere within which the gifts and talents of all are recognised and utilised.
