Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
“The Eucharist, as Christ’s saving presence in the community of the faithful and it’s spiritual food is the most precious possession which the church can have in her journey through history” - Pope John Paul II.
To adore the Blessed Sacrament means to worship and pray to the living Lord Jesus reserved in the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is an opportunity to meet Jesus. Where Jesus is, Our Lady is also present adoring her son.
We came to Jesus present in the Blessed Sacrament in silence bringing to him our joys, fears, worries, and failings. We bring the intentions of our families, our friends, our communities. With His graces and blessings we learn to enjoy precious minutes and hours before the Blessed Sacrament.
It is a great privilege to be an adorer of the Blessed Sacrament. Eucharistic Adoration takes place in Mungret Crecora Raheen Parish. New members and visitors are always welcome.
Times of Adoration:
St. Nessan’s Church Raheen - Each Friday from 10am to 10pm
St. Oliver Plunkett’s Church Mungret - Each Wednesday 10am to 12pm
St. Peter and Paul’s Church Crecora - Each Thursday 10am to 12pm and 6pm to 10pm
“May the heart of Jesus in the most Blessed Sacrament be praised adored loved with grateful affection at every moment in all the tabernacles of the world even to the end of time”
